What is your greatest joy serving as an elder?
“There is much joy in being able to glorify the LORD. Being an elder carries a lot of responsibility and a strong desire to do what the Bible says. One should find joy in helping other brothers and sisters grow stronger. Regardless of how long you have been a Christian or how old you are, never try to coast spiritually. By putting other first and not necessarily looking for happiness one is happy because that pleases GOD. Joy is serving GOD in various ways. Being a dedicated elder is one of the ways to serve because that is what GOD desires.”
What area of work at West End are you most interested in?
“Seeing someone become a Christian is a wonderful event. As an elder, one desires to be interested in any and all the activities of the Church. Activities that most likely bring someone to accept CHRIST are my favorite.”
