What is your greatest joy in serving as elder?
“My greatest joy in serving as an elder is the opportunity it provides me to give back to the people much of that which the Lord has so richly blessed me with. My ambition in life is to see myself and all of God’s people grow and develop in our Christian lives. The opportunity to teach, shape and assure Christian growth is a great joy to me as we prepare God’s people for works of service.”
What area of work at West End are you most interested in?
“The area of work that most interests me is teaching. After all is that not the core of the Christian’s mandate? Whether in the classroom or one on one, it is a most fascinating and exciting experience for me. This is especially true when you see people obey the gospel and then grow in the Lord to become very productive and mature members in the Kingdom of Christ. For me, helping people is one of the most rewarding tasks that life has to offer.”
